SCMProFit Transforms Warehouse Operations for a Leading Cold Chain Logistics Provider in Indonesia

SCMProFit’s supply chain and logistics technology platform, announced the successful go-live of its Warehouse Management System (WMS) for one of the leading players in the cold chain logistics industry. The implementation digitizes end-to-end warehouse operations at the company’s facility in Cileungsi, Bogor, Indonesia.

The Challenge

The company’s warehouse processes were time-consuming, with outbound operations recorded on paper and updated into the system only after the fact. Order releases could not be adjusted flexibly once initiated, and managing shelf-life requirements for both replenishment and delivery critical in a cold chain environment proved difficult. These gaps contributed to inventory inaccuracy and made it hard to track inventory at the bag level or manage expiry dates with confidence, creating risk across the fulfilment and delivery process.

The Solution

SCMProFit implemented its Warehouse Management System (WMS), along with its Standard API integration for WMS, to streamline end-to-end warehouse operations and directly address these operational challenges. The solution enhanced order release management, introduced automated replenishment recommendations, and enabled real-time, handheld-terminal (HHT) based warehouse operations, along with improved delivery tracking and Proof of Delivery (POD) management. The implementation also included integration with the company’s ERP and transport planning systems, as well as enabled data model integration for its analytical tools.
